Lasic Eye Surgery

This story is for my family and buddies who wonder what it is like to go via a lasic eye surgery vision correction procedure. I've shared my experiences with one or two colleagues at work that have also had lasic eye surgery done, and there are sufficient variations to give insight to those who are attempting to choose between various lasic eye surgery physicians or different lasic eye surgery centers.

Very first, my lasic eye surgery procedure was scheduled for 4 PM in the afternoon, which was fine with me. One of the directions for patient that has just had a lasic eye surgery procedure was to go to sleep as soon as possible, in order for the healing procedure to begin as rapidly as possible. And generally by the end of the afternoon I am too tired right after working all day to become really nervous. Well, usually anyway.

Lasic Eye Surgery

I had only been there a few minutes when I was shown into a space to prepare me for that lasic eye surgery procedure, and to obtain instructions (again!) on how to care for my eyes once the lasic eye surgery vision correction has been done. They offered me some Ativan, which is really a mild sedative just to keep me calm throughout the lasic eye surgery process. The lasers will monitor any head or eye movement and turn themselves off when this occurs, so it isn't that the sedative is for anything other than pure psychological reasons. I took it anyway. All of my colleagues also took it, though none of us really felt any different than we did before. Apparently it's a Very mild sedative.
